Brno Theatralia Conference IV

The main project output will be the Brno Theatralia Conference IV, which will take place in June 2023 (Brno, Czechia). The conference is a prestigious international event (https://btc.phil.muni.cz/) hosted by the Department of Theatre Studies, Faculty of Arts, Masaryk University. This special two-day conference will be co-organised by the Department and CEESRA. The umbrella topic will correspond with the research theme of the project, i. e. Crossing Borders with Shakespeare since 1945: Central and Eastern European Roots and Routes. The conference will offer an opportunity to present individual research outcomes to other academics, theatre makers, students and those interested in Shakespearean productions in Central and Eastern European countries that crossed the borders of their origin. The conference will take place over two to two and a half days. Costs will include three nights for each member of the research team and travel costs for team members and The project will also cover travel and accommodation costs for two keynote speakers who will be invited by the CEESRA group. https://ceesra.wordpress.com/ https://btc.phil.muni.cz/

The final local press conferences will be organized by each partner inviting the local media and also national media representatives where available.
