Introduction of folklore in Małopolska regions: Podhale, Orawa and Cracow.

The purpose of the visit is to introduce cultures and traditions of Małopolska region to students. They will become acquainted with the folklore of Cracow and Podhale: music, dance, costumes, regional dialects, wooden construction and traditional cuisine. Day 1 Folklore of Podhale region Music workshops with a regional band. Dinner at a regional inn. A trip to Zakopane (Krupówki Street, Gubałówka Hill) . A trip to Chochołów- classes on traditional highlander architecture. In the evening - folk music party. Day 2 Folklore of Cracow A guided tour, legends of Cracow, St. Mary"s Church, The Main Square, The Cloth Hall, Wawel Hill. Day 3 Folklore of Orawa region An open-air museum at Orawa Ethnographic Park. Workshops ‘From grain to bread’ - how bread was baked. Nowy Targ sightseeing. Health and active lifestyle as the key to wholesome future

The first day is the sports day. The students will visit the school's gym, the premises of the school's sports club and the sports hall in the town of Bohumín. They are going to play badminton, football or take part in a floorball tournament with students of the Secondary School in Bohumín. Thanks to the sports competition, students will have the opportunity to get to know their strengths and weaknesses and learn the rules of a given sports discipline. Day 2 - Collective cooking and culinary arts Shared preparation of typical Czech meal - dumplings, cooking in the school’s kitchen, basics of table setting, cooking healthy food and special diet meals. A visit to the school cafeteria, the principles of creating a menu in terms of the balance of the students' diet. On this day, students will have the opportunity to learn about traditional Czech cuisine, which will help them develop their culinary skills. Day 3 - Tourist trip around Bohumín Exchange of information about the most interesting places, tourist attractions in Bohumín and its surroundings (historical part Starý Bohumín, bunker, church, museum, ZOO or Landek park). On that day, the students will prepare a multimedia report. By working together, they will improve their communication, language and IT skills. Getting to know the history of the Czech Republic, they will have the opportunity to establish contacts with Czech youth, which may result in future international cooperation. Day 4 – Sports relaxation day A visit to an indoor or outdoor swimming pool, relaxing water attractions, mini golf. This day will be an opportunity for integration. Project participants will exchange their life experiences and views not only with students, but also with their tutors. They will get to know their social and economic situation. Thanks to this, intergenerational and inter-religious dialogue will be possible. Day 5 - Educational and tourist activity Tourist walking trip - protected landscape area and bird area of the Meander of the Odra River, educational trail, Kališovo lake with a guide. BDFF in Prague

From 2023 we would like to expand BDFF and organise events in the V4 countries. First we would like to team up with our Chech partner Ishorts who have great experiences in organising film events. We would like to screen the short film of the participants and a selection of the best debut features from the region. The screenings will be followed with industry networking event with the participation of local producers, directors, film students. www.bdff.eu
