At the workshop, participants will learn what kind of available approaches, software and/or applications exist that can be used to better promote their areas to wider audiences, as well as to how to monitor the success of these visits, as well as on how visitor monitoring capacities can be further aided (e.g., citizen science, QR coding, geocaching). Participants will also learn how to use these tools and channels, how to measure and analyse the results (e.g., metrics and analytics), and how to implement gained results in strategies and plans for further visitor management and nature conservation. The workshop will include exercises to put into practice what is learnt. One member from each project partner will also attend the workshop.
