This would be the best approach to rapid drawing of funds for the quality renovation of buildings with the achievement of energy efficiency and the replacement of the boiler to renewable. Expert lecture delivered by Peter Csanyi and fourth workshop devoted to the international position of V4 countries within the EU: their diplomatic relations with EU core, influence on EU matters and the possibility to create their own agenda. ENERGY EFFICIENCY: THE WAY OUT OF FOSSIL FUEL DEPENDENCE IN CEE COUNTRIES?

Russia's aggression against Ukraine is rewriting Europe's energy mix. Dependence on fossil fuel imports from Russia must be stopped, and Europe is accelerating its shift away from fossil fuels toward new clean energy sources. Apart from replacing Russian energy imports and the construction of renewable energy sources, energy efficiency is among the most viable solutions. The direction was set by Fit for 55 legislative packages launched in 2021. For the Central European countries energy savings in building sector may be the way to decarbonise their emissions-intensive economies.
