Workshop: Zlín

As part of the project, four workshops will be organized (one workshop in each of the partner countries). Their aim will be to present identified and evaluated cooperation models – measuring effectiveness of the identified models in regards to outputs, management, costs – transferability and modifications of the models and avoiding one size fits all problem and to involve representatives of various environments in the discussion and developing ideas on the possibilities of widespread dissemination, promotion, implementation and monitoring of the long-term evaluation of these models’ applications by involved research institutions. Both participants of the study (cluster managers and representatives of research institutions) and representatives of institutions not participating in the study will be invited to participate in the discussion and provide feedback in order to further develop presented outcomes. Moreover, policymakers will be invited. The discussion will concern limitations in implementing cooperation models outside clusters. Each country may have different conditions such as legal regulations, business environment. The workshops will also be used to discuss the conditions that must be ensured so that R2B and B2R cooperation models existing in clusters can be implemented on a larger scale. The workshops will allow to clarify and improve the project's recommendations for the practice. Online Workshop on Railway Sites Development

The online workshop will be organized by Aviscon Kft, a partner from Hungary. It is planned as a full-day workshop, organized in two parts. The first will be an open dialogue between all participants (partners and professionals) focusing on particular themes related to industrial tourism as well as on the role that professionals from different disciplines (brownfield, urban planning, tourism, cultural management, heritage) can take as actors of railway tourism development. Interdisciplinary international groups will be working on particular railway facility as a separate case study, prototyping new functions for abandoned site, viewing conflicting interests of different actors, trying to come up with a tourism strategy for developing this site, focusing on its sustainability (especially in the new circumstances due to the pandemic). https://rail4v4v.com/

Launch in Hungary

The official launch of the IT Fitness Test 2022 V4in Hungary will be organised within the Smart Conference held on 6 April 2022 in Budapest. Smart is the largest event that welcomes around 500 people wishing to learn more about digital technologies and related interesting topics. This year's event slogan is: Secure the future! The regional section of Smart will host a session dedicated to digital skills development related issues. Over the course of the conference, we expect to inspire and engage guests with the following topics: ​digital skills development, education - skills shortages, labour market shortages; technological developments—growth of the digital economy, competitiveness; international cooperation—the competitiveness of the country and the region—accelerating the digitalisation of different industries. ​Guests representing the consortium running the IT Fitness Test 2022 in the V4 countries will be speakers of the conference as well.
