Project Planning Workshop
At the heart of our project is a 14-week program for seniors where artists from different disciplines regularly meet seniors to co-create and share an original artwork. The program runs parallely in each country. The project planning workshop is a key event in the preparation of this 14-week program. The invited 8 artists spend 4 days in Budapest to develop the details of the program for seniors. (2 other days are set aside for traveling.) They share their previous experience and expertise in working with diverse groups. They develop the exact theme, the creative processes, the pedagogical approaches and milestones for the 14-week program with seniors. They also plan the online sharing
for the upcoming months about the progress of each group. This event is also important in forming connections between the artists, because it is the only time during the project when they all meet in person. After the project planning, artists go back to their countries and start working with local seniors.
