Orava Snowkite Challenge 2022
Orava Snowkite Challenge 2022—5th edition of this perfect event organized on Orava in Slovakia. This year OSC will be a part of new pilot project Visegrad Snowkite Cup which is giving us an opportunity to be part of International Snowkites cups in the World. Orava Snowkite challenge is a longtime project of Kite enthusiasts. It is not only for those who wants to compete but also for those who would like to learn Snowkiting or just chill in a beautiful Orava region in Slovakia. We would like to invite all fans on all levels of experience as professionals and amateurs as well. One of our main mission is to integrate new snowkiters through Snowkite trainings which will be available during all 3 days of OSC 2022 event. For visitors there will be a perfect program prepared with lot of fun, music and possibility to win some prizes. We know that accompanying program can help us to attract more people, which can visit our region and help touristic and regional development. To ensure comfort for everybody we would like to rent a "spherical tent" with heating. Competition will take place in 3 different categories Race, Cross Country and Hang time. For each rider we will prepare GPS electrical time measurement, perfect prizes for winners and small gadgets for every rider. Overall winner of both events (in CZ and SK) will get an original crystal cup with logo of VISEGRAD SNOWKITE CUP. Of course, results will be counted separately for women and men but all riders will start together. In case we will have enough junior we will create junior category for girls and boys. Everybody will have a chance to tests renowned Snowkite brands directly on a spot - Ozone, Flysurfer or Peter Lynn. By this project we offer to all of you the joining on amazing Snowkite session, visiting and exploring beautiful places in Orava and enjoying perfect atmosphere together with others snowkite enthusiasts from different countries. Project itself will consist from preparation, implementation and final phase, where all tasks/actions will be redistributed among the abroad partners during online or face to face meetings. We would like to focus on better propagation & promotion of our events. Therefore we pay an attention to get a professional advertising agency to help us create a original concept, reach more audience and prepare an official after movie video to have prove result which we can share out widely.
Program of event should be as follows :
1st day : Training day for all racer's / Free snowkite courses for visitors
2nd day: Competitive day/Registration of the riders/Official opening ceremony / Meeting of kiters before race/Start of the race/Free Snowkite courses during all day / Accompanying program - competition for visitors, music, refreshments, after party and more others
3rd day : Competitive day/ Free Snowkite courses / Start of the final race of event / Awards and Closing ceremony / Departure day
Budget for Orava Snowkite Challenge is a bit higher than cost related to Lipno Snowkite challenge - in OSC budget is included cost of Audit, Promotional - marketing services, Translation cost, Hand painted maps will be paid as well. These costs are the right difference in a budget.
