Difficult Heritage: Interwar Codification Movement in Central and Eastern Europe (1918–1939)
The project covers both research and its dissemination in various forms. The academic conference (webinar) itself is a traditional medium for conducting scholarly debate, and its title, identical to the topic of the entire project, proves that it is its key element. The presentations will not only have a universal academic dimension, but also those who prepare open lectures provided for under the project will draw on the discussions held during it. The main issues discussed during the conference (webinar) will include (topics require discussion planned in the first month of the project): methodology of comparative research on the legal culture of the Visegrad Group countries, social needs and codification work, distinguished persons in codification work, characteristics of projects in individual countries; searching for similarities in the codification movement of the V4 countries in the interwar period. Period: the conference is planned 7 October, 2021.The publishing of papers in the journal (the Internet version) is planned until the June 2022, the payment is also planned in 2022.
