The Conference explores sustainability across the entire fashion chain, and will be divided into 3 main themes: 1. Sustainability & Accountability 2. Society & Culture 3. Education & Training The Conference serves multiple purposes: 1. Strengthens sustainable literacy through providing accessible knowledge 2. Provides a platform for researchers and practitioners in the region to feature their work 3. Provides a platform for researchers and practitioners in the region to share their resources and collaborate 4. Advances the field of knowledge and broadens the conversation around sustainable fashion The conference will be completely digital. This not only ensures the safety and health of participants against the deadly Covid19 pandemic that is raging worldwide even as this application is submitted, but also ensures complete accessibility to all interested participants. Holding this event online also drastically cuts down on the project's environmental footprint. Since the project's organizers and speakers will do very little traveling to work in person with each other, our carbon emissions will be almost 0. Attendees will not be traveling to the conference, making their carbon emissions 0. www.fashionforwardvisegrad.com
