International Forum

The International forum will be combining the experience and will be introducing the implementation of European practices into environmental policy and practices in the field of сlimate сhange and sustainable development in Ukraine. The main focus of the event is the discussion of these problems from the point of view of Visegrad - Ukraine experience. The forum will foster extensive debates among various stakeholder groups. Two round tables will be held during the conference. The foreign, nonlocal, and local speakers will participate in roundtables and debates, which will bring a lot to the value of the project due to their first-hand experience in the field of climate change and sustainable development. The representatives of each of the universities from Poland, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, and Hungary will be the main speakers of the event. Ukrainian representatives from different cities of Ukraine and various universities will take part in the forum. The forum will be a positive synergy of the best environmental practices. Target groups also are very wide. There are scientists, practitioners, teachers, students, stakeholders, and representatives of non-government organizations, policy-makers, industry specialists, industry experts, and the public. The result of the forum and round tables within its framework will be the exchange of experience and information in the academic community, raising the level of awareness of civil society. The event will serve as a launching platform for creating a powerful hub, pooling experience, and finding ways to interact with the academic and social communities. Engaging a wide audience will provide an opportunity to understand the innovations aimed at adaptation to climate change and the experience of sustainable development of the Visegrad countries; implement cross-enrichment themes. A monograph of the conference will be published to present the reports of the event's main participants. Full-time and correspondence participation in the forum is assumed.
