Is there a need for architects in build-to-rent housing?

The topic of the webinar is rental housing and the role of architects and institutions in the development of it. Even though in the years between 1960 and 1990 there had been built thousands of rental properties in Slovakia, the construction in the last three decades has been stagnant and local municipalities´ processes in the field of construction investments are advancing at a very slow pace. What types of architecture service procurements could bring the desired effect? And at last but not least, how the architects´ practice reflects it? Jewish Krnov

Open lecture about Jewish Krnov followed by a question-answer session with a rabbi, that will take place around Rosh Hashanah—the Jewish New Year. Following the lecture participants will then have the unique opportunity to join the holiday evening prayers in the Synagogue in Krnov (reform service). The Jewish culture is a common heritage of the region, which has been brutally uprooted and now is reviving. The citizens of the region need to have the opportunity to learn about the historical heritage as well as modern Jewish culture, ask questions and experience this culture which has for hundreds of years been an undividable part of the cultural landscape of the region.
