Connecting Talents – pitching
The development of suitable ideas will have its climax with the pitching of the ideas from the individual groups and their presentation to a specialist audience, which will include representatives from regional funding agencies, national film institutions, but also producers, journalists and distributors. Individual talks will then take place in a slightly different setting than normally: Instead of the usual 10-minute table discussions with the respective experts, all those present - forum participants and experts - will sit at one long table and engage in conversation while working together on creating various dips for lunch. This means that participants and experts can easily get to know each other while slicing vegetables for the dip and can already talk a little about the pitched project in a more relaxed way. Every five to ten minutes, one side of the table moves on, where the dips continue to be worked on. This is a method that has already successfully been implemented before and which leads to a new and, above all, more informal type of exchange. At the end there is the lunch together to exchange more ideas about the concepts.
