Folk Youth Festival

Folk Youth festival with participation of Polish and Czech students - open for other schools and groups, not only from project partners. Festival will take place in Skansen in Pstrązna (part of Kudowa - Zdrój) and aims in showing youth knowledge of local traditions and culture. We count to have 10 groups and 1000 watchers. Local Creative Design Workshop

The workshop with Roma participants will focus on the history of Roma in the country, Roma fashion and design, traditions and modernity, creation of unique DIY design and fashion and will use story-telling activities to map participants' experiences related to their identity and cultural heritage. The workshop will use informal education methods and will build on the active participation of the attendees. Participants will become more empowered to be proud of their Roma origin and will gain imporant knowledge in their culture and history. They will also develop their skills in design. The event will close with a community photo shooting, the results of which will be showcased in an online photo exhibition. www.romani.hu/visegrad

Travellling Exhibition

The exhibition will feature designs created by Roma at the local workshops in the 3 partner countries, along with photo documentation of the events and traditional and modern garments prepared exclusively for the project, reflecting on the common identities in the region and Roma culture's interconnectedness with the non-Roma Slovak, Hungarian and Czech populations. It will thus contribute to promoting values of Roma communities and their common history with majority groups in the region. www.romani.hu/visegrad
