Roundtable in Hungary

Hungarian state has a distinctly different policy towards the Russian aggression in Ukraine. This event, with exhibition, could be used to race awarnes in Hungarian public society. It may contribute to the shift in the understanding of the nature of Russian agresion againts Ukraine in Hungary. We have an informal agreement of support of this event with the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs and we have established constats with local instituton like Blinken Open Society Archives in Budapest (its archival holdings relate to post-war European history, the Cold War, the history of the former Eastern Bloc, samizdat, the history of propaganda, human rights, and war crimes). Training camp for V4 countries

We will organize a 4-day training camp for participating athletes, trainers, manager, and other professional staff following the V4 International Wrestling Cup. During these intense training days, athletes will get to train with quality partners, learn new skills and techniques from other trainers and each other, and can try themselves in different competitive situations, which will enhance their competitiveness. The workshops and professional consultations for the team and club trainers will help them exchange best practices and build lasting professional connections, which can lead to further joint collaboration like competitions, trainings. U15 wrestling cup for V4 countries

We will organize a new U15 competition for V4 countries, which is very rare in the region and can greatly help the younger athletes gain competition experience and develop their skills. The aim of the tournament is to provide high standard of international team competition for the U15 (2009-2010) group and increase the partnership among V4 countries. The event will be planned from November 2023 to March 2024, the competition will take place on March 30., 2024 at the sports hall of Dorog city. The competition will be held in 11 weight categories for boys and will involve a team competition, which means the young players get to participate in more matches, which is crucial for their development and competition experience. The planned program is: 29.03.2024. Friday: Arrival of the delegations 30.03.2024. Saturday – greco roman competition: • Medical examination 8:00-9:00 (Sports hall of Dorog city) • Weight-in: 9:00 - 9:30 (Sports hall of Dorog city) • Round matches: 10:30 - 17:00 • Award ceremonies: 17:00 – 17:30 The first three places will receive medals, the 1st, 2nd and 3rd teams will be awarded with cups. 03.04.2024 wednesday 09:00-14:00 greco roman team competition http://dorogiac.hu/visegrad-fund
