2nd Peer Group Meeting (on-line)—Refugee Council

The purpose of establishing the Refugee Council as a platform within the framework of V4NIEM (and beyond) is to strengthen the influence of people with refugee experience and people with one of the forms of protection in Poland on discussions about the shape of the integration policies in Poland, their outcomes and changes to the policies (basically advocacy), as well as to strengthen the influence on researches on integration of people applying for international protection and people under protection. We invite activists and community leaders with experience of the forced migration, involved in actions and initiatives for intercultural dialogue and integration. During the first meeting of the Council, we want to create a space to: - talk about the barriers, challenges and possibilities of involving people with refugee background in shaping integration policies, - talk about a better use of the project NIEM/V4NIEM to improve the situation of persons with international protection and persons applying for protection, talk about how a group of persons with migration experience can jointly influence policies, projects and activities in the area of integration in Poland. We believe that it suits the aims of V4NIEM project in an innovative manner and complements its standard format of meetings, which IPA would than continue to have in the framework of V4NIEM. https://www.clovekvtisni.cz/en/visegrad-3106gp
