Animarkt Business: Ask the Expert
A series of B2B meetings of the creators of animations (directors, animators, set designers, puppets and props makers, graduates and students of higher education schools in the field of animation, etc.). with foreign film studios, distributors, televisions and industry representatives. Consultations will enable young creators (from V4 and CEE) to present selected projects, consult them, obtain advice and, as a consequence, establish cooperation in their implementation with specific entities. The event will allow students to learn more about animation environment and support the career development of young talents, especially from V4.

Studies:
IKKI Films - a French studio that produced the Oscar-nominated short puppet film "Negative Space".
Maur Film - an animation studio from the Czech Republic, specializing in co-productions between the Visegrad Group countries, Oscar-nominated for the film “Daughter”.
Distributors and sales agents:
New Europe Film Sales - company from Poland, one of the most important European sales agents, having such puppets in its catalog animated films like "This Magnificiet Cake!" or "The Burden".
Miyu Distribution - distributor of short animations from France, responsible for the promotion and distribution of the nominee Oscar of the film "Negative Space" and “Daughter” and the winner of the main prize at the festival in Annecy "Bloeistraat 11".
Radiator IP Sales - producer and agent specializing in short actor and animated films, whose productions were awarded, among others, at the Sundance festival.
Festival Consultancy Service for Animation Shorts: Vassilis Kroustallis from Scheriaa Productions/Zippy Frames and Ivan Zolotukhin from FestAgent
Creators:
Piotr Knabe - a creator of puppets with over 15 years of experience, who worked on such productions as "Peter and the Wolf" or "Isle of Dogs".
Tim Allen - a puppet animator with over 18 years of experience. He worked on sets of such films as Tim "Corpse Bride" Burton, "Fantastic Mr. Fox" by Wes Anderson, "Peter and the Wolf" Suzie Templeton (awarded with an Oscar), as well as "Isle of Dogs" by Wes Anderson. Consultations and will be open, the number of places will be limited, the condition for participation will be prior presentation of your portfolio and CV to the organizers and consultants (so that consultants can prepare for individual meetings). Among the submitted applications, 4 projects will be selected for each of the consultants.
