Expert Talks
Expert Talks will be implemented in parallel with Student Activism School and will engage young experts and professionals, activists, students, and educators from V4 countries in a series of discussions with Armenian students.
8 Expert Talks will be organized and delivered by the Experts appointed by the partner organizations and universities. The Expert Talks will concentrate on giving the participants knowledge on key data, facts and research in the field of higher education. As a result of the Expert Talks students will acquire deeper understanding of issues of quality in higher education.
The Expert Talks will be organized based on the following topics:
Talk 1: Student activism; the history of movements/campaigns for the right to education (student movements in 60’s, women and civic movements for the right of education, campaign for free education, etc.).
Talk 2: Quality and achievements in the reform of higher education in V4 countries in frames of Bologna system.
Talk 3: Bologna declaration, its legislative framework, tendencies of further development of higher education.
Talk 4: Corruption, transparency, financing and decision-making in higher education.
Talk 5: Civil disobedience, academic freedoms and academic integrity.
Talk 6: Academic writing and plagiarism as phenomena.
Talk 7: Media and non-governmental organizations as actors of change in higher education.
Talk 8: Student activism, art and activism.
