An educational one-day experience-based workshop based on 1989 theme for primary and high school pupils. The workshop is lead by 2 trained experts. Approximately 30 pupils take part on one workshop. We are not able to tell yet in which cities the workshops will take place, this depends on the demand from the schools. Thanks to the workshops the pupils will have a chance to learn something from the history of their nation and key event of 1989. The workshops are based on a principle of drama and based on experience, which will contribute to not only learning about history, but also to understand it in the context. https://www.postbellum.sk/co-robime/projekty/medzinarodne-spoluprace-international-cooperations/89-30-years-after-the-fall-of-iron-curtain/

We Want to Be Spoilt, Too! Women§s Cinema—Experts’ Debate

Who is a woman and who is she not – and is it worth asking this question? Do women have to be rebels? Or maybe they can be who they want? Does one have to use violence to direct films – or not anymore? Is the cinema of women still a territory wrenched from the men’s kingdom or maybe just a useless cliché? Answers to these and other questions will be discussed by the female directors – Jagoda Szelc and Tereza Nvotová – whose many-times awarded films can be watched in the Pan Tadeusz Museum (Popiol i Diament cinema) – and by a multimedia artist Zofia Krawiec. https://muzeumpanatadeusza.ossolineum.pl/wydarzenia/my-tez-chcemy-byc-zepsute-kino-kobiet/
