Workshop on Advocacy Planning

A four-day advocacy planning workshop will be delivered by V4 experts for the 10 most active civil society and community members in Tropoja in order to build their capacities on preparing a focused advocacy strategy to claim participation in development planning and advocate for sustainable development projects. The workshop will focus on conducting mapping, situational analysis, power analysis, advocacy and communications planning. The three V4 experts with expertise in campaigning, community participation and communications will be supported by three local experts - two with legal background (local and national) and one with community liaison background - in preparatory work and facilitation of the workshop. As a result of the workshop, an advocacy strategy will be drafted and later implemented during the project. The need for focusing and streamlining advocacy efforts came from the closing conference of the previous Visegrad-funded project held end of 2018 as a way to ensure meaningful impact when advocating against harmful developments or seeking support for sustainable livelihoods development. http://toka-albania.org/voice-for-tropoja-2-0/activity-4-campaigns-planning-training/
