International Pitching Forum

Presentation of documentary projects from V4 and other European countries. Over the course of two days 24 international projects will be presented to a large professional audience (commissioning editors, distributors and sales agents, producers, funders… around 200 people). Inside this selection, we plan on receiving quite a few projects from Visegrad professionals (thanks to the 50% waiver we will hand to the professionals who request it) and having between one and three V4 projects in the final selection. As for comparison, we had 3 V4 projects presented and pitched last year (January 2023) • THE WORLD IS (NOT) A MINE (director Natalia Koniarz, producer Katarzyna Dudarewicz) • SON OF THE STREETS (director Muhammed Almughanni, producer Rashid Abdelhamid) • SONGS OF SISTERHOOD (director Hanka Nobis, producer Esther Van Messel) Besides, as part of our agreement with DOK.fest München, we selected in May 2023 the project THE VALLEY OF WIDOWS (directed by Miro Jelok and produced by Katarína Jonisová, Vintafilms, Slovakia), to be part of our International Coproduction Forum. In 2024, we will present 4 projects from Visegrad https://fipadoc.com/en/journees-professionnelles/meet-match-visegrad

Matchmaking • Biarritz

Producers meet producers’ matchmaking social event

A private dinner will be organized among all producers that will join producers meet producers session (i.e., French, Visegrad, Italy and Spain), right after the formal coproduction session and the France Télévisions cocktail (where participants are also invited). In order to provide them with an environment where they can freely network among European peers. Visegrad and other directors whose films are selected for the edition will also be invited. Besides, we will also organize a lunch prior to the session, in the FIPADOC canteen. It will be offered by FIPADOC https://fipadoc.com/en/journees-professionnelles/meet-match-visegrad
