Artist Residency in Central Sudetes – week 2

6 artist residencies organised in Kamionki (the Pieszyce commune) in Poland aimed for 3 artists from Poland and 3 artists from Czechia.. The residencies would lead to the creation of new artworks in the field of environmental art. The residencies would foster cultural exchange by bringing together artists from Czechia and Poland allowing them to share their perspectives, artistic practices, and cultural heritage. This exchange of ideas and experiences enriches the creative process and contributes to intercultural dialogue. Introduction Workshop – PL

One-day taster of the educational process. Masterclass at a partnering institution, open to all their students. This will introduce the whole project idea and give potential students an opportunity to experience each teacher. All instruments and singing will be done separately. Lecturers will showcase their skills in a short concert at the end. This will be the basis for selecting a student from a given country (Poland) for each instrument for the main school in august. At these workshops, wide audiences from each of V4 countries will be able to experience lecturers from all V4 countries, different teaching styles and approaches to music. V4 SECTIONS AT THE MAIN FESTIVAL

Live multi-media presentations and films by V4 directors will be featured at four separate V4 sections. Up to 25 films made by V4 directors will be featured in the program, with additional 14 local and V4 guest speakers, offering lectures from their adventure trips and travels. Four separate program sessions will be offered to elementary and high school students, including special schools. One special Film and Photography Workshop will be offered by award-winning filmmakers and photographers from the V4 countries. www.horyamesto.sk
