Student workshop in Slovakia

Centropa will bring together 25 students from Slovakia for an interactive one-day workshop. The workshop will include film screenings and work with material developed for HerStories project available on HerStories website. Students will learn more about personal stories of Jewish women, their experiences in different countries and became familiar with the exhibition created based on these stories. Students participating in the workshop will be trained as a tour guides for the exhibition, providing peer-to-peer teaching and learning experience to their fellow students and making the exhibition accessible to them. https://www.her-stories.eu/en/events

Visit in the Czech Republic.

Arrival of the group from Warsaw; welcoming party at our school; lunch in the school's canteen; sightseeing tour around two cities: Polish and Czech Cieszyns (meeting with "Alive Architecture"/"Żywa Architektura" experts); boarding students in host families/teachers in a hotel. Day 2: mountain trip in the Beskidy Mountains; visit to an ecological agricultural farm of Michał Milerski in Nydek; a tour in the local folk culture museum in Bystrzyca and a meeting with Jan Michalik; late lunch in Bystrzyca. Day 3: shopping at a local grocery store; lunch in the school's canteen; culinary workshops at school (using old generations' recipes and creating new ones). Dat 4: visit in Trinec Iron Works; preparations for and participation in the eco-friendly fashion show "Kwiat Morwy".
