Producers meet producers V4-France

During this 2 hours long session, 4 to 6 producers from the V4 countries will meet with 6 producers from France and exchanged about their documentary projects intended for international coproduction. The idea of this session is to foster international coproduction and to expand the selected participants’ professional networks in Europe. After a short presentation from each participant, focusing on their companies identities, each participant will meet with their international counterparts. These 24 to 36 prearranged meetings will be coordinated by our dedicated matchmaker, Zdeněk Blaha (Institute of Documentary Film in Prague / East Doc Forum). Producers meet producers V4 matchmaker

A V4 matchmaker will be dedicated to V4 professionals (directors and producers) during the whole event. He/she will have one-to-one meetings with selected professionals before and during the event. His/her missions include: * Spreading the call for participation towards partners and V4 industry networks * Connect with the selected producers prior to the event to understand their needs and objectives, via a virtual meeting organized by FIPADOC * Welcoming and accompanying producers and directors during the Industry days * Mentor and accompany producers during the event and introduce them to relevant professionals during informal meetings, including the French key professionals pointed out by FIPADOC Industry days team. * Join the informal meetings to accompany directors and producers (e.g., Focus Evening, Matchmakers' social events and so on). Visegrad films selected at FIPADOC

Over eight days, FIPADOC showcases a selection of outstanding documentary films. In 2023, we showed more than 150 films to more than 32.000 spectators, among which 13 films from Visegrad (with titles such as THE CATHEDRAL, THE INVESTIGATOR, THE FLEDGLINGS or HOLY DILEMMA). Our ambition is to offer our audience a dynamic and memorable experience in theaters. Therefore, we invite directors of the selected films to share Q&A sessions with the public. Invitation of directors include transportation, accomodation and a professional accreditation (which grants access to the whole Industry program and the whole festival). This year, films and works such as PELIKAN BLUE, ULA, EASTERN FRONT, HANDFUL OF DIRT or FRESH MEMORIES: THE LOOK have been selected, with directors and/or producers being invited to present their work to the Biarritz audience. https://fipadoc.com/en/journees-professionnelles/meet-match-visegrad
