Workshop in BiH on use of local natural materials in construction

Workshop will be organized to support use of low-carbon natural building materials, mainly straw and clay., with the aim to improve the knowledge on the use of local materials and support the low emission eco-building in BiH. Based on experience from Slovakia and Poland, the specific resources and opportunities in the region of the BiH partner will be explored. The 2-days workshop will be organized in Laktaši, Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) for about 10 participants with 2 Slovak and 1 Polish trainers and facilitator from BiH. The SK and PL trainers will stay in BiH for additional 2 days to do a survey on local natural building materials, the sources and quality, to assess the potential and requirements for their use for eco-building. This will be done in close cooperation with the local experts and stakeholders. The results of the assessment, recommendations, methods and procedures will be summarized by SK, PL and BiH experts in a report published online and will be used for further trainings and workshops in BiH. Introduction Workshop – CZ

One-day taster of the educational process. Masterclass at a partnering institution, open to all their students. This will introduce the whole project idea and give potential students an opportunity to experience each teacher. All instruments and singing will be done separately. Lecturers will showcase their skills in a short concert at the end. This will be the basis for selecting a student from a given country (Czechia) for each instrument for the main school in august. At these workshops, wide audiences from each of V4 countries will be able to experience lecturers from all V4 countries, different teaching styles and approaches to music. International Training

3 - day international training set with the aim to reach the following objectives: -to introduce the methodology, and the indicators, to demonstrate the practical use of the methodology to assess the social entrepreneurial ecosystems and better understand the way how they function, the challenges, elements to be improved; -to increase the competencies of selected participants representing civil society and social enterprises to use the methodology to assess their social entrepreneurial environments; -to support networking and sharing practices between Visegrad and Western Balkan countries to support creating a supportive social entrepreneurial environment. The structure of the training: DAY 1: Getting to know each other, networking activities; introducing the methodology, the indicators; DAY 2: Practical use of the methodology in the practice: workshops with the creators of the methodology, experiencing the process of assessing the ecosystems, addressing the challenges, and obstacles; DAY 3: Working on the plans for applying the methodology at the national level, discussing the challenges linked to the local specifics of participating countries.
