Documentary Workshop in Slovakia

This event presents helding a one day seminar at our partnering filmschool in Slovakia—VŠMU. Through our partners and tutors we are in contact with VŠMU for several years and we have confirmed the interest among the students to be more involved in our activities. Therefore we would like to held a seminar for documentary filmschool students, focused on the way the documentary film projects are being developed and what is the methodology of their selection for training courses like dok.incubator and also the strategy of various film festivals. This seminar will be held in February or March for cca 6–7 students out of which also observers for the workshop will be selected. This seminar will be prepared with a VŠMU teacher. Second part of this event will be organisation of a workshop in Slovakia. It will take place at the end of April and will include work with 3 Slovak projects and 8 international projects. The workshop consists of regional part (3 days) and international part (6 days), both are interconnected through common activities. At least 33 participants will be involved. This workshop is focused on project development in the late stage of rough cut. Some of the international tutors will also be part of the selection process. The tutors are experts in editing, film production and marketing. Each of the projects involved will be assigned an observer from a different country and VŠMU students (3–4 people) will participate to learn more by practice in the editing room. https://dokincubator.net/visegrad-partnership-2020/

1st Peer Group Meeting

The meetings are the core activity of our advocacy strategy—networking relevant stakeholders and providing them with national and comparative evidence (from NIEM/ V4NIEM and other research) concerning the quality IPs + creating multi-stakeholder platform to share/discuss/coordinate -opinions/experience/action. Minimum 10 participants/meeting. In the 1st V4NIEM period—the average amount of PIN event participants was 13.3. In the Czech context, the lower attendance numbers showed to boost the efficiency of the meetings. Therefore we estimate to host between 10–16 participants. Target group numbers reflect minimum - totals with each participant of each meeting counted as "1". The amount of unique individuals can only be roughly estimated by dividing each target group by 3.) https://www.clovekvtisni.cz/en/visegrad-3106gp
