Celebrating the anniversary of the Fund

We celebrate the twenty-fourth anniversary of the Visegrad Fund. Over the years, we have supported more than 6,350 projects and 3,330 scholars as well as more than 3,500 entities implementing their projects. All this and much more for a total of up to €129 million.

“I would like to thank our grantees, scholars, our partners and especially our team. The fund is developing, it is becoming more and more visible and influential. The civil organizations in our four countries are active, collaborating and coming up with new ideas and activities,” said director Petr Mareš during the Fund Anniversary celebration.

At the event, Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Juraj Blanár personally appreciated: “For over two decades, this organization has been a cornerstone of regional cooperation, fostering cultural exchange, innovation and people-to-people contacts between V4 countries. On this special occasion I would like to express my sincere gratitude to our Executive Director Petr Mareš for his vision and dedication.”
