Discover Fund´s annual report

The Visegrad Fund’s annual report for 2022 presents all the activities that the fund’s team devoted themselves to last year, and we would like to share the results of our work.

Although, Russia’s aggression against Ukraine has significantly affected the fund’s activities during its twenty-two years history like never before, in this difficult situation, the fund team successfully managed all standard tasks, and succeeded to develop, test and launch two new mobility tools: V4 Gen mini-grants for youth exchanges and Visegrad Fellowships for short research and lecture stays.

The International Visegrad Fund responded to the emerging crisis with an extraordinary appeal for help to refugees seeking help in the V4 region and processed more than 200 proposals and supported 72 grants worth almost 1 million euros.

Cooperation with the countries of the Eastern Partnership and the countries of the Western Balkans, the extraordinary program for Ukrainian refugees, the modernization of the scholarship program with the Archive of the Open Society in Budapest and the Historical Archive of the European Union in Florence, as well as the mobile scheme V4 gen created in total regular projects amounting to €9,016,126 were approved in 2022.
