Representative of the Visegrad Fund Orsolya Rigó, Project Manager and Lucia Becová, PR Manager are going to visit  Wroclaw and Krakow – Come, meet with us!


We are starting at the Forum for Dialogue Festival at the University in Wroclaw, where you can watch the debate with our Deputy Director Marianna Neupauerová who will look at the the meaning, purposes and ambitions of cultural mobility from the perspective of the Fund on an online panel discussion this Saturday, 2pm. Joined by other speakers from the field of culture, the talks will embark on artistic mobility also in terms of specific cultural policies implemented on national and international levels. We will be in Wroclaw in person on Monday, June 28 at 5pm – talking about the possibilities that the Fund offers for young artists via its Visegrad Arts Residencies mobility schemes at the info-session that brings together organizations and institutions that organise programs promoting artistic mobility and residencies in order to present their projects and opportunities. On July 1 at 6pm, we will be Krakow at Villa Decius on the Opening of the “PoszTerra” travelling exhibition with posters from V4 countries, which is the part of the Art Picnic – Visegrad Days. On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the cooperation between the Visegrad countries, the Hungarian Academy of Arts initiated the international poster exhibition “PoszTerra.” The cross-sectional exhibition is a challenging selection of works by three outstanding artists representing each of the Visegrad countries. In addition to the works of masters the exhibition also features projects by selected students. The exhibition will be on display from 1 to 31 July 2021.
The day after on 2 July, 5 pm we will meet with the scholarship holders of the “Visegrad Literary Residences” program at Villa Decius on the debate “A Hijacked West or the Tragedy of Central Europe”– Milan Kundera’s essay published in 1984 sparked a decades-long debate on the common identity of Central European countries.
