The Visual & Sound Arts, Literary Arts and Performing residencies can be implemented after the contract is signed between the Fund, the host organization, and the artist. The host institution is to assure the signature of its statutory representative and the artists and to send one signed copy of the contract to the Fund.

1st installment

The Fund shall disburse the 1st installment no later than 15 working days after the reception of the duly signed contract. The 1st installment is in the amount of:

  • 50 % of the scholarship in the case of Literary Residencies (standard autumn edition)

  • 90 % of the scholarship and lump sum in the case of Performing Arts and Visual and Sound Arts Residencies

  • 100 % of the scholarship in the case of Residencies in New York and Literary Residencies (compact spring edition)

2nd installment

If applicable, the Fund shall disburse the 2nd (final) installment within 15 working days upon the reception of the relevant documents which are:

  • for Literary Residencies (standard autumn edition), the interim report & confirmation of continuation of the residency issued by the host organization.

  • for Performing Arts and Visual and Sound Arts Residencies, the final report written by the artist and the host organization.

The amount of the 2nd installment is 50% of the scholarship for Literary Residencies (standard autumn edition) and 10 % of the scholarship for Performing Arts and Visual and Sound Arts Residencies.
The artist and host institution shall acknowledge the Fund’s support in all public releases and any presentations of outcomes from the residency project. The logo of the Fund is available on its website ( Visegrad residencies should be cited as ‘Visegrad Artist Residency Program, funded by the Governments of Czechia, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia through the International Visegrad Fund’. Also, in any publications or presentations, the artists should acknowledge that the views presented in them are their own and they do not represent the views of the International Visegrad Fund.

The Final report is to be submitted by the artist and the host institution no later than 30 days after the end of the residency at the latest.

The Final reports should be prepared with the help of the questionnaires below.

To ensure the timely disbursement of the final installment, residents are kindly requested to complete the Questionnaire within 30 days after the conclusion of their residency. The questionnaire is completed through system. Additionally, residents are required to upload images captured during their residency and provide web links to any related posts. 

The host organization is responsible for completing, printing, and signing separate questionnaire. Following this, residents are kindly requested to upload completed questionnaire (pdf file) as part of their Final Report through the system and afterwards submit the whole report. 

Note: You do not need to print submitted report from the online system.
